Ridgemark Farm now has both North County and South County locations!

Ridgemark Farm continues to operate out of North County's Bonny Doon Equestrian Park, located just 15 minutes north of Santa Cruz. Lessons are available for all levels of children and adults, summer camps for kids, and full care board and training.

Vicki Rose has also opened a Ridgemark Farm South location to better serve South County residents at Castlewoodo Ranch in Larkin Valley! Castlewood Ranch is a 30 acre boarding facility. It has a 60' round pen, a small arena, a cross country jumping course, and miles of maintained trails. Hot water wash rack, turnouts, full and partial care boarding available.

On the ranch are goats, alpacas, chickens, Kid Rock the mini pony, and Ella Mae-a pig the kids can walk on a leash! It is a safe and friendly environment where kids can learn how to take care of the animals and be good stewards of the land.

The ranch will be home to Ridgemark's new endeavor, Horses Heal Hearts, a multifaceted program where the horses are our teachers. Come for Cowpoke Club, Cowpoke Campouts and Camp, Horse(wo)manship, EAGALA Equine Assisted Therapy, and Grief Support Groups in Collaboration with Hospice of SC County and Jacob's Heart.

Ridgemark Farm is moving to Bonny Doon Equestrian Park! Our move will be completed by April 15, 2015. We will be up and ready for lessons shortly after that. Bonny Doon Equestrian Park is located on Bonny Doon Road, just off of Highway 1, only 15 minutes north of Santa Cruz. This top notch facility features a large covered arena, full size dressage arena, outdoor jumping arena, 2 roundpens, and multiple turn out areas. Trails meander along on this sunny property in the redwoods, right across the street from Beauregard Ranch Vineyard. Hope to see you soon!

Summer Camp Enrollment is Open!

Camps Our camps are always the highlights of everyone's summer! Camps are held in July and August. Mini Camp-This Camp is Now Full (waiting list available) July 1-3 T-Th 11am-2pm $250 Ages 6 & under Horsemanship, grooming, horse care, and riding on the leadline, with fun games and crafts along the way. For our youngest beginning riders. Horsemanship Camp 1 July 21-25 M-F 10am-2pm $425 Ages 6-12 Horsemanship Camp 2 August 4-8 M-F 10am-2pm $425 Ages 6-12 These will be mixed level camps. Open to riders already riding with Ridgemark Farm, or with some riding experience. New beginners will be accepted if they take a few lessons at Ridgemark before camp. This weeklong camp includes a lot of riding, grooming, horsemanship, with fun games and crafts. We always suggest that prospective campers come try a lesson before signing up for camp. This is a fun group riding experience for our young beginning riders under age 10. Each Saturday from 1-2pm, we invite all of our youngest riders to come to a fun, game filled lesson that will include groom- ing, tacking, horsemanship skills on the ground, and riding. It is open to all of our youngest riders, and will be taught by Laura with her experienced camp assistants Wyatt and Maggie.

The cost of Saturday Ranch club is $50, for the 1 hour group lesson. This is a fun way for your child to have riding lessons and at the same time have a fun, camp-like experience with horses at the ranch.
