Our first full month at Renaissance Ranch was full of fun times and great rides!!
Here is Laura helping Mariah tighten her girth....Murphy looks like she's getting a quick nap in before the lesson starts! When I get there in the mornings, the horses are covered in shavings, letting me know that they spent their night relaxed and cozied up in their extra fluffy stalls. It is so peaceful out there-I have had many clients tell me that it is so lovely, they have a hard time leaving to go home!
The five grass pasture turnouts are up and running, and the horses get to go out for 3 hours each day-lucky! On Thursday, Mike Kindscher from Morning Sun Ranch delivered the new arena sand, so we spent the day exploring the miles of trails adjacent to the ranch. Beautiful meadows, bubbling springs, adorable little wildflowers, gorgeous vistas from the top of the hill...how lucky are we?! The horses loved the break from the ring work....great for the their minds and their conditioning.
Some of the girls painted their lockers-here's Natalie and Kristian with their awesome colors-so fun! I purchased a flat screen TV for the Riders Lounge and I have had so much fun videotaping everyone's lessons and then sitting down with them to watch them! We have also been watching videos we have from fun events our barn has done in the past...from clinics to shows to horse camping trips, Ridgemark Farm sure has had a lot of fun!
